Iliana Zaharieva is Director Corporate Communications at A1. She is responsible for all the company’s communication activities targeted at the public and employees. The “Corporate Communications” Directorate unites the management of public communications, traditional and social media, the organization of sponsorships and events, corporate social responsibility programs and internal communications of the telecom.

Iliana Zaharieva has almost 20 years of experience in the field of corporate communications, public relations, marketing and advertising.

She joined the A1 team after working for Postbank, where she led the company’s corporate communications for six years.

Before joining Postbank in August 2007, Ms. Zaharieva was responsible for advertising and public relations successively for Hebros Bank, HVB Bank Biochim and Unicredit Bulbank. She started her career in the field of corporate communications at KPMG in 1999.

She has a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, London, London School of Public Relations, as well as a master’s degree from the Faculty of Modern and Classical Philology and the Faculty of Slavic Philology of Sofia University in Sofia.
