Iva Doychinova started her career in radio journalism in the Horizon program of Bulgarian National Radio. Subsequently, she worked for the first private Radio FM+ and for 14 years was the host of the programs “A Streetcar Named Desire”, “Iva and John” and “Breakfast with Iva”, which turned her into one of the most recognizable voices on Bulgarian air. From 2000 to 2006, Iva Doщchinova was the Program Manager of the five main teams of the private media: Sofia, Burgas, Varna, Blagoevgrad and Stara Zagora.

A step towards television followed, and in 2006 Iva joined the morning talk show of BNT The Day Begins. She hosted topics related to education, ecology, health and the cultural part of the show.

From 2007 to 2011, she was part of the bTV team and hosted the programs “Mommy’s Hour” and “The Day is Beautiful”.

Her television experience also includes: “Hit – 1”, the first musical reality show on BNT, “I want a job” on NOVA and “Superdoctor” on Bulgaria On Air. She was also the host of a political reality show – “The Promise” on BNT.

Doichinova is the founder of the Awaker of the Year campaign. She is a UNICEF ambassador in the “One Package, One Vaccine” campaign dedicated to the fight against tetanus in the poorest countries of the world.

Since the beginning of 2023, Iva Doychinova has headed the team of “Radio Focus”, where she is currently Program Director.

She is married with two daughters
